Hospitality and Tourism is an industry for people people.  A multi-billion dollar industry that involves culture and travel is recommended for those who not only have a love of people and communication but an interest to learn and a freedom to travel.  

Careers in hospitality range from hotel/restaurant management to travel and tourism.  Hours can often be long and these jobs often come without an office and a lot of action.  Willingness to relocate can also be a huge plus.  Also, as with many industries, new media is playing a major roll in shaping the next generation of hospitality tourism careers.   Pay can range drastically dependant upon the job. And internships are typically unpaid but offer great experience.
